RGBlink ePTZ Tracking Camera (HDMI, USB, LAN) (RGEPTZ)
The ePTZ Tracking Camera is an intelligent camera solution with a 4K sensor that has an image recognition and tracking algorithm. The camera outputs a scaled full HD panoramic image in standard mode via HDMI, USB 3.0 or network. As soon as a person steps in front of the camera, the camera zooms in on them and follows their movements within the possible image section.
The intelligent ePTZ Tracking Camera is the ideal solution for trainings, presentations and live events where no cameraman is available.
- Intelligent tracking, multiple tracking modes
- Via HDMI-Out tracking function possible without PC
- Easy configuration via web browser
- Distortion-free wide angle
- Multistream output
- Supports PoE
- Tripod thread on top and bottom side
Configuration
The camera can usually be put into operation immediately with the standard settings. Configuration is done conveniently in the web browser via network using password-protected access. Video and network parameters can be set via the well-structured menu navigation. Numerous image settings such as focus, exposure, colour space, etc. can be changed and saved from automatic mode to personal preferences. The video signal can be output in 720p with 29.97 or 1080p with 25, 29.97 or 30 frames per second. Optionally, the date, time and individual camera name can be superimposed on the image. An external audio source or microphone can be connected via the 3.5 mm stereo input. However, the audio signal can only be embedded in the network stream.
The camera has ¼" tripod threads on the top and bottom so that it can be mounted on tripods or appropriate wall or ceiling mounts using the tripod screw provided.
Control
Manual control such as zooming or digital panning within the image section is also carried out via the web browser tool via network. At the same time, the video stream is displayed on the PC monitor, so that simple image control is also possible.
Tracking mode
No additional software is required to set up the tracking function; it is done directly in the web browser tool. This interface allows you to define the area to be tracked, the image section to be transmitted and other parameters. After saving, the tracking function is permanently available even without a PC. If the video output is to be exclusively via HDMI or USB, a network connection is no longer necessary in tracking mode. In tracking mode, it makes sense to work only with a speaker who is at a distance of three to a maximum of 15 metres from the camera.
Video output
The ePTZ Tracking Camera has an HDMI output, a USB and a network connection. The HDMI signal can be sent directly to end devices such as projectors and displays, or to image mixers. When connected to a computer via USB, the camera is recognised as a webcam and can be used directly as a video source in Teams, Zoom, OBS or other software.
Streaming
The RGBlink The ePTZ Tracking Camera can output a video stream with different network protocols, codecs, resolutions and frames. The camera creates streams using either the RTMP, RTSP, SRT or RTP protocols. The videos can also be streamed directly to the Internet and picked up by corresponding hardware or software. H.264 or H.265 are available as codec, the bit rate can be set variably.
