The Nanlite Alien 150C is a powerful RGBWW LED panel light that can be set-up with its included pop-up softbox in mere seconds, it outputs a surprising amount of light with impressive throw, and runs on AC, V-Mount, or external 24V sources. The panel features IP55 water-resistance and weighs just 7.9 lb (3.6 kg), which is 13% lighter than competing panels with similar power. The Alien 300C can be mounted on lightweight stands with the separate Control Unit kept low for easy access to the controls. Alien 150C can also be controlled via CRMX LumenRadio, Bluetooth, 2.4G, and DMX/RDM. Useful accessories are included, like an eggcrate grid, diffusions, stand clamp, rain cover for the Control Unit, and a case.

When you turn it up to 100%, Alien 150C outputs a formidable 13050 lux (1212 fc) @1M 5600K, but it can also be quickly dimmed in fine 0.1% increments. The included padded carrying case provides protection, but doesn't weigh you down. The panel comes out of the case with the softbox already installed, and you pop it open by releasing a couple of stretch bands. It's fully assembled in no time. The yoke provides 360° of rotation with a single-sided stepless lock, and metal barndoors are available separately with the part number BD-AL150. Even though Alien 150C kicks out plenty of brightness, it's only 3.7" (9.5cm) at the thickest point and generally compact all around, so it's useful in both tight spaces and larger sets.
