With the Ranger lens set, Laowa is introducing its new compact cine zoom lenses. The Ranger LITE lenses are technically identical to the Ranger lenses, but are each around 100 or 200 grams lighter. Their new space gray color also gives the lighter version a modern look, which makes it even more attractive in combination with film cameras.

The Ranger and Ranger LITE sets consist of the full-frame focal lengths 28-75 mm T2.9 and 75-180 mm T2.9. These zoom lenses have been carefully developed to meet the needs of both one-man filmmakers and the requirements of large production houses. All optics combine exceptional functions with excellent performance. Another lens with a focal length range of 16-30 mm will follow in the near future.

The large zoom range of the Ranger and Ranger LITE lenses is very popular among filmmakers. These cine lenses are extremely lightweight. This makes it easier for filmmakers to create stunning shots with excellent details with virtually no effort. Filmmakers benefit from the convenience of the parfocal design: the lenses maintain focus when zooming in and out.

The minimum focusing distance of just 49 cm or 89 cm enables captivating close-ups. The focus transition runs almost without focus breathing. The optics are housed in professional cine housings.
